~Rebecca Kijumi 24.Jan.04 02:48 PM a Web browser Domino Administrator6.5Windows 2003
I have two domino 6.5 servers, one internal admin server and the other a web server. I replaced the web server with a new server. Kept all the names the same. Before the server was replaced, the SPX connection documents worked fine. Now that I have changed the server, the new server can see the admin server and pull information through SPX.
When the admin server tries to connect to the new server, either through SPX or TCPIP, it says that the server is not responding. Even if I use a TCPIP connection document, the log says looking for server at last known address, SPX. Is it looking for the MAC address of the old server? I did not delete the server document for the Web server when I changed the servers. I can
login into the web server from the internet and also from a LAN client through TCPIP or SPX.
Thanks for your time.
